In conjunction with International Women's Day, HIPSHUT sought to celebrate women in the hospitality industry. The goal was to create an inspiring yet engaging video that highlighted their dedication and triumphs, particularly focusing on upward mobility within the sector.
Our Creative Concept
We developed “Behind Her Smile,” a captivating narrative centered on the inspiring journey of Gina, a hotel staff member. Our creative concept infused this story with a humorous twist, drawing distinct stylistic inspiration from Wes Anderson films. This allowed us to tell a story of resilience and ambition with a unique visual flair and witty dialogue.
The Story Unfolds
The video delves into Gina’s life, chronicling her dedicated rise through the ranks to eventually become a proud hotel owner. We showcase the challenges she faced, but with lightheartedness and charm. The narrative unfolds through witty comebacks and snarky remarks exchanged between Gina and her colleagues, set against the backdrop of various cinematically framed locations within the hotel premises, creating an engaging and memorable viewing experience.
