SJPP
Intro
Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan (SJPP), a wholly-owned company of Malaysia's Minister of Finance Incorporated, was established in 2009. They administer crucial government guarantee schemes, enabling Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to access vital financing facilities from financial institutions.
The Challenge
SJPP needed to effectively reach out to SMEs regarding their Government Guarantee Scheme Prihatin (GGS-Prihatin). The challenge was to communicate complex financial information in a way that was informative, educational, friendly, and engaging, ensuring SMEs understood the scheme and felt comfortable accessing it, especially during challenging economic times.
Our Creative Process & Solution
HIP Digital Agency developed two distinct creative advertising strategies for SJPP, ensuring their message resonated with diverse SME audiences. Our approach combined clear communication with empathetic, engaging visuals and copy.
Our solution involved:
Set 1: Educate (Problem-Solution Focus)
Strategic Copywriting: We crafted straightforward, short, and punchy copy that evolved from problem statement to solution across ad frames, adhering strictly to Google Ads’ word limits.
Visual Storytelling: We featured local entrepreneurs as the campaign’s main face, creating relatability and inspiring emerging startups. The visuals and copy culminated in a powerful message of HOPE in the final frame.
Set 2: Support (Conversational & Engaging)
Conversational Approach: This variant adopted a friendly, conversational tone, directly addressing “Dear SMEs” to create immediate connection.
‘Lyrics Style’ Creative: To break through corporate formality, we used a lyrics-style approach in the copy. This made the message light and urban, encouraging entrepreneurs to engage with the banners and feel comfortable reaching out to SJPP.
The Impact & Results
Our dual-pronged advertising strategy successfully transformed how SJPP connected with Malaysian SMEs. By combining clear educational content with empathetic, relatable visuals and a conversational tone, we enabled SJPP to communicate the GGS-Prihatin scheme effectively. The engaging creatives helped cut through the corporate mood, fostering trust and encouraging SMEs to access crucial financial support.
